Unique Ways to Wrap Christmas Gifts (+FREEBIE)
‘Tis the season to get wrapping…fa la la la la…”
Happy Holidays, everyone! I know, I know, everything is rush rush rush right now. It is really starting to get down to the wire on finishing up ordering gifts, getting them wrapped, and figuring out what dish you’re taking to the party?!? Well, today I wanted to share a few different ways that your gifts can stand out amongst the crowd.
Bonus: my team & I put together a set of custom gift tags and stickers that you can print out and use! Each of the below techniques use one of the tags. If you use them send me a DM on Instagram @maddy.corbin so I can see!
Technique 01: Jingle Bells Pine
For this wrapping you will need…white wrapping paper, jute string, small bells, pine leaves & our “Noel” gift tag below!
Step 01: Wrap your present using white wrapping paper.
Step 02: Wrap the jute string around your box starting on the top bring the two strings around the side of the box to the bottom and switch the hands holding either string, then wrap them around the other side of the box. Do this twice but when you come back to the front, have the second wrap be about an inch away from the first.
Step 03: After you’ve got your jute looking the way you want go ahead and tie it off once so it stays. Take 2 pine leaves and put them under the jute string to stay in place.
Step 04: One at a time slide the bells down the same jute string adding a knot at the bottom after each one.
Step 05: Find the tag you want to use (in my case the Noel) cut it out of the card stock you printed it on and hole punch it. Fill out, add it to one of the jute string and tie off.
Technique 02: Hanging wreath
For this wrapping you will need…brown wrapping paper, a mini faux wreath, red ribbon & our fa la la sticker below!
Step 01: Wrap your present using brown wrapping paper.
Step 02: Place the small wreath where you want it to be placed.
Step 03: Using the ribbon place it at the top of the package and measure how much you need to keep the wreath in place.
Step 04: Loop the ribbon through the wreath and tape to the top of the box.
Step 05: Cut out the sticker of your choice (link here for sticker paper to put in your pinter) I am using the fa la la!
Technique 03: CANDY CANE MANIA
For this wrapping you will need…white wrapping paper, red & white string, a candy cane & our gingerbread man tag from below!
Step 01: Wrap your present using white wrapping paper.
Step 02: Take the red & white string and begin wrapping and twisting it similar to technique 1. Do this 2-3 times on each side to get a thick amount of string built up.
Step 03: Once you’ve brought the string back around, add the tag of your choice (I am using the gingerbread one) and tie off.
Step 04: Take left over string and tie into a bow. Add candy cane under sting.
Technique 04: TRADITIONAL BOW & PINE
For this wrapping you will need…brown wrapping paper, red ribbon, red & white string, faux pine & our reindeer tag below!
Step 01: Wrap your present using brown wrapping paper.
Step 02: Twist the ribbon around the box similar to technique 1.
Step 03: Tie ribbon off in a bow and cut tips at an angle.
Step 04: Using red & white string put it on the bottom and bring it up to the front. Put tag of your choice on the string (I am using the reindeer) and tie off.
Step 05: Slide red & white string under ribbon to hide. Tape pine leaf on corner.
